Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
